Closing Ceremony of “Quality of Education Improvement Project-Narowal”

MOJAZ Foundation has organized closing ceremony of “Quality of Education Improvement Project-Narowal” on December 10, 2013 in Islamabad. The Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reforms Professor Ahsan Iqbal graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Federal Government, Punjab Government, USAID, Action Aid, FOSI, PPAF, OXFAM- Novib, OXFAM- GB, VSO, IHT, Islamic Relief, The Asia Foundation, GIZ, Water Aid, World Bank, Plan Pakistan, IRM, AGAHE, TVO, MEDA Pakistan, JWS, NRSP, Save the Children, Concern RF, Pro-Rector from Bahria University, and many other International and National NGOs participated in the event. The “Scalable Model” developed under the project to improve the quality and management of education was much appreciated by all. The participants expressed the willingness to replicate the Scalable Model at a larger scale to see how it works on a bigger scale. MOJAZ is quite hopeful that the project will not end here and will produce fruitful results at a much larger scale in the longer run.

Annual Retreat-2013

MOJAZ Foundation organized “Annual Retreat-2013” to celebrate the success of MOJAZ and its contributors on December 10, 2013 in Islamabad. Chairperson Dr. Sono Khangharani graced the function as the Chief Guest. Member of provincial assembly Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, founder MOJAZ Foundation also graced the occasion. The function was attended by all offices of MOJAZ Foundation. The outstanding staff was awarded with shields to acknowledge their contribution to the organization.

Providing "Winterize kits" in Kashmore for the flood affected families

MOJAZ initiated its relief activities in district Kashmore by providing support to the most vulnerable through winterize kits with the support of Concern Rapid Fund. 2500 flood affected families in the 2 UC’s of district Kashmore(Ghelpur and Gablou) were targeted for the said project. The project particularly focused on women, eldelrly and families with more number of small children to help them overcome the extreme winter weather conditions. Winterize kit was the most lifesaving initiative for the community which lost all the basic necessaties of daily life.

Celebrating women's day in Narowal & Muzzafargarh

A walk was carried out in different areas of Narowal and Muzafargarh where the staff, stakeholders and community men and women participated enthusiastically. Once again, MOJAZ Foundation was successful in spreading awareness and empowering community women to participate freely. The main focus of this event promoted women security, right to vote, health and education.

MOJAZ Foundation Badin, Sindh

MOJAZ Foundation with the support of IOM was responsible for the construction of one room shelters in district Badin in order to benefit 520 households. In this project MOJAZ Foundation was responsible in identifying the benefices and assisting 22 formed VC’s to be trained with technical guidance for the construction of these one room shelters.
