Gulshan Kaur

Ms. Gulshan Kaur is serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MOJAZ Foundation since June 2013. Prior to join as CEO, she has served Organization as one of board member for 05 years. She is an educationist and social reformist with more than ten years of extensive experience with various Not for Profit entities, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs).

In her professional career being spread over a period of several years includes a mentoring role of organization by serving. She is widely experienced in the fields of rural development, microfinance and microenterprise development. She possesses strong skills and experience in microfinance market research leading to the development of client-focused products and cost-effective delivery systems.

As Chief Executive Officer of MOJAZ Foundation, she has three times increased the number of borrowers since June 2013 and successfully included women in income generating activities with the current ratio of 60% of total active portfolio, particularly in rural areas. Furthermore; she has also took remarkable initiatives for social inclusion and protection of religious minorities, persons with disabilities and transgender persons in portfolio and ensured that all segments of societies are benefitted from MOJAZ programmes. Her keen interest in organization’s systems strengthening & development has not only proved her a visionary CEO but also a leader.  Furthermore; she has successfully led the transformation process of MOJAZ Foundation to MOJAZ Support Program, a separate entity of MOJAZ Foundation registered under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984 and further its registration for Non-banking Microfinance Company license.

Muhammad Tahir

MOJAZ Foundation

Muhammad Tahir, MBA Finance and CA article completed with ICAP, had started his professional career in 1992. Having long working experience over 20 years, he has extensive and diversified practical working experience in Finance & Accounting in corporate and Micro Credit sector. Currently working in development sector as with Mojaz Foundation, he has been working closely with international donors as team leader of Finance on behalf of Mojaz Foundation and completed many projects successfully with the coordination and support of Chief Executive Officer of the Organization.

Inder Jeet Singh

MOJAZ Foundation

Mr. InderJeet Singh didn't become a social and development worker straight away after graduation. Instead, he worked as Fabric Div. Manager and Merchandiser in a textile industry in Pakistan. It was then when he was sensitized about the ultra and vulnerable poor.

By making the use of his degree, he decided to work for the livelihood enhancement of the deprived communities where he has served for the last 8 years. During this time he had been mobilizing the communities, provision and effective use of micro credit, conducting out trainings on Enterprise Development and moreover he shifted small farmers, from traditional agriculture to innovative and modern agricultural technologies; especially towards tunnel farming.

Sadia Iqbal

MOJAZ Foundation

Saadia Iqbal holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. She has been working for the development sector inside and outside Pakistan at both national and international level since 1998. Saadia was also awarded an opportunity by Cap-net- Holland, to be the young water professional from South Asia where she gained an opportunity to work in global environment. Her experience also revolves around Action aid-Pakistan and PPAF, coordinating its programs; research; monitoring and evaluation. Currently Saadia is working as Manager Monitoring and Evaluation at MOJAZ in the areas of Microfinance, Social sector, Humanitarian Response, Disability, and Women empowerment. Besides providing M&E support, Saadia also entails providing policy and strategic direction. She carries vastExperience in Project management and strategic planning having thorough knowledge of Research, monitoring and evaluation, fieldwork in poor communities and grasp over participatory methodologies. Saadia also carries strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

Raees Alvi

MOJAZ Foundation

With master degree in Economics Raees have 15 years’ experience of working with national & international relief, development & advocacy organizations like Child Care Foundation of Pakistan (CCF), SUNGI Development Foundation (SDF), Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), World Vision International (WVI), Oxfam GB, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), DiakonieKtastrophenhilfe (DKH), MOJAZ Foundation.

Project management is his area of strength and throughout his career he designed, implemented and monitored various integrated projects including Livelihood, DRR and Social Protection. He also has very good track record of Team Management, Procurement, Financial Management and Human Resource Management. Being a humanitarian worker he has excellent track record of working in 2 major disasters in Pakistan (Earthquake 2005 and Flood 2010) and very well aware about IRC Code of Conduct, Sphere and HAP Standards.

Abdul Samad

MOJAZ Foundation

Abdul Samad has a lucrative professional with working experience on projects with UN agencies, International Humanitarian Aid agencies being implemented in Pakistan. He has worked with Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund & MOJAZ Foundation. Working with all these international agencies enabled me to develop an understanding level with working in international working environment, reporting formats, programme planning & implementation at ground.

Samad has been currently working in capacity of Senior Program Officer (Emergency & Relief) M&E department with MOJAZ Foundation. Over the period of 03 years of professional experience after having master of business administration, he has gained hands on experience working in project management cycle, program implementation, information management & reporting, budgetary management in similar settings & organizational dynamics, besides my role of organizational focal person for maintaining external/internal liaison for programs/projects stakeholders. Being on a lead role, also gained experience in handling project/program teams, maintaining their TORs.

Ahmad Nadeem Gill

MOJAZ Foundation

Ahmad Nadeem Gill holds a MBA in Finance and MA in political science. He is experienced and goal-oriented in Office Management with a demonstrated track record of leading the preparation and analysis of financial reports. He is currently working in Mojaz on micro finance and emergency relief in flood affected areas of southern Punjab & Sindh province. His previous work experience revolves around handling different projects with USAID related to financing.

Nazeef Pervaiz

MOJAZ Foundation

Nazeef Pervaiz, attended Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore and earned BSc Honors degree with majors in Operations Management in 2011. During her academics’, She has won Talent Scholarship (USAID) and Certificates of Distinction for “Core Values” and “Service” for the session 2007-2011. She also participated in Badminton Championship as an Official Scorer and Player.

Right after completing her studies, Nazeef joined MOJAZ Foundation as Management Executive-Micro Finance however, shortly she was transferred in Human Resource department and currently she is serving in MOJAZ Foundation as HR Executive.

Nazeef has great interest to work for the women and marginalized communities of Pakistan. She has got opportunity to attend different type of trainings /workshops to enhance her professional competencies during last 7 years i.e. Training of Trainers, Report Writing Skills, Financial Management for Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Seminar on “Spirituality of Non-Violence” and Training of Trainers “Celebrating Communalities & Understanding Differences” etc.

Rana Zahoor-ul-Hasan

MOJAZ Foundation

Rana Zahoor-ul-Hassan completed his Masters in Social Sciences from Islamia University Bahawalpur. He started his career in 2005 as a Social and development worker in National Rural Support Programme (NRSP). He carries diverse experience in project management. Rana has also been working on social mobilization, education, micro credit, Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and livelihood. In his professional career of eight years, he has been marvelous in team and time management.

Bazil Riaz Haider

MOJAZ Foundation

Bazil Riaz Haider became part of MOJAZ Foundation in 2019 as our Youth Ambassador. As one of the youngest members of the team, Mr. Haider represents the interests and concerns of young people in the organization. Currently, he is in the first year of his A-levels. His passion for social justice and keen interest of social issues makes him an appropriate addition to our team. Since his joining, Mr. Haider has been an active part of our coordinating team. He has contributed to our COVID relief efforts in Islamabad. Previously, he has been an active participant in our interventions for inter-faith harmony in Narowal. During these projections he has actively led seminars, and conducted confidence building sessions. Aside from participating in field work at the grassroots level, he is eager to share his knowledge with his peers.
